My therapeutic approach
My approach is integrative. It draws on humanistic approaches, emotion-focused therapies, and contemporary approaches supported by scientific research.
This work aims to help you better understand your current difficulties, bring to light certain patterns of functioning, and develop ways of coping that are more helpful and more closely aligned with your values.
First sessions
The first sessions offer time to understand what brings you to therapy, your current situation, your expectations, and the resources you can rely on.
Over the course of therapy
As the work progresses, we will explore more deeply your emotions, needs, reactions, and the situations that cause difficulty. Therapy can help you relate differently to certain emotional experiences, better understand recurring patterns in your life, and move toward concrete changes.
Although the work is mainly individual, occasional conversations with people close to you may be considered when relevant, and always with your agreement.
